Exactly 40 days ago, Stacy Rinehart from Mentorlink came to our small group and shared with us a new project they had just finished.  They have unique permission from the Jesus film to take short snippets of the video and put them on Youtube as devotional and educational bits through the life of Christ.  Each one is no more than 6 minutes long and usually 2 or 3 minutes.  Each has a few thought provoking questions at the end.  The goal is to offer a new way to get the message out.  The price is free.

This tool has only been out a few months and I want to highly recommend it.  I can see groups and churches using it as a way to encourage members and then from there have them share it with friends and family.  I just shared it on Facebook and Twitter myself.  

The first few days, honestly, I wondered if there would be an appeal to an American audience.  But after a few days, the messages were so compelling that I looked forward each day to taking a few minutes with Jesus and found it extremely helpful and encouraging.   I loved the approach of just a few minutes to hit a topic followed by some questions for reflection.  

If Jesus is relevant to you, you'll love the encouragement this will bring to your relationship.  If he's not, I think you'll enjoy seeing and learning what all the fuss is about.
