A new, 13-week, Christ-centered GriefShare support group begins on Tuesday,September 7th in the bookstore at Morning Star, starting promptly at 7:00 PM. Join us as we journey through the wilderness of grief and search for solutions to the unique and individual obstacles that we often face as a result of loss. Share the journey with others who may not fully know your grief, but who truly understand your pain. We watch a DVD segment, then have a time of discussion. No one is required to speak - share as you are able or sit and listen to the discussion between others in the group. Keep an ear open for God's voice. This group is only for adults and we do not offer child care. You can join us at any point throughout the 13-week session, but we encourage you to make as many as possible.

Description:We live in a culture that has completely lost touch with what is means to have healthy relationships. Even though we come into relationship with Christ, we often don't know how to apply our faith to our relationships. Jesus made relationships one of the most important things about being his disciples when he said that "By this will all men know that you are my disciples, by the love you have for one another." This group will take an in-depth look at what it means to relate to others following the example of Jesus and the teaching of Scripture. We will study relationship principles from Ephesians 4, covering topics of conflict, confession, honesty, submission, and listening. This is not a class that is focused on marriage but, rather, is meant to help us develop the heart and the skills necessary to conduct all our relationships (with neighbors, church family, family, work) in a way that fulfills Jesus' prayer that we would be one as Jesus and the Father are one. Description:This is a support group for moms of all ages. This is for new moms to grandmas babysitting young ones. We will be doing a bible study called, "Mom NEEDS chocolate...hugs, humor, and hope for surviving motherhood" by Debora M. Coty. We meet between 9-9:30 for socialization/coffee/snacks then we get into our study. We will have childcare and the cost will be $2 per child and $5 for 3 or more kids each week. Every week will discuss a different topic so if you miss out on one week no worries, we know how busy moms can be!!! We also run activities throughout the week/month which can include kids and husbands but sometimes we just need a mom’s night out.
